Dear friends,

After two months of planting, interacting with nature, exchanging information and knowledge and transforming a derelict park into a productive garden that provides food and entertainment for humans and an ecosystem for birds and insects, we’re now inviting you to celebrate with us the Collective Bahçe with music and poetry from Cyprus and the world and to discuss the next steps for its development.

Αγαπητοί μας φίλοι,

Μετά από δύο μήνες φυτέματος, επαφής με τη φύση, ανταλλαγής πληροφοριών και γνώσεων και μετατροπής ενός αχρησιμοποίητου πάρκου σε ένα παραγωγικό κήπο που προσφέρει φαγητό και ψυχαγωγία για τους ανθρώπους και οικοσύστημα για έντομα και πουλιά, σας προσκαλούμε να γιορτάσουμε το Συλλογικό Μπαξέ με μουσική και ποίηση από την Κύπρο και τον κόσμο και να συζητήσουμε τα επόμενα βήματα για την εξέλιξη του.

Celebrating the Collective Bahçe

Κοπιάστε στο Γραμμικό Πάρκο Εθελοντών Καϊμακλίου (Γ’ Φάση), να γιορτάσουμε το Συλλογικό Μπαξέ με μουσική και ποίηση από την Κύπρο και τον κόσμο.

Join us at the Linear Volunteers Park in Kaimakli (3rd Phase) to cel- ebrate the Collective Bahçe with music and poetry from Cyprus and the world.

Cob Building Workshop at the Garden – 07/06/2013

This was a day filled with collaboration and productivity! Together with 30 (active) participants we created a permanent structure (bench) in the Garden with ‘Between the Lines – An Office of Urban Architecture’ with instructor Maria Costi de Castrillo. Thank you all for making this happen!

Αυτή η μέρα ήταν γεμάτη συνεργασία και παραγωγικότητα! Μαζί με 30 (ενεργούς) συμμετέχοντες χτίσαμε μόνιμη κατασκευή (παγκάκι) στον Κήπο με εκπαιδεύτρια τη Μαρία Κωστή de Castrillo από το ‘Between the Lines – An Office of Urban Architecture’. Σας ευχαριστούμε όλους που το κάνατε αυτό να συμβεί!

Learning about Self-sufficiency at the Garden

Join us on the 18th of May at the Linear Volunteers Park in Kaimakli to learn to plant seeds, to make bread, marmelades and compost, to sew, how to take care of our health and discuss aquaponics.

Σας περιμένουμε στις 18 του Μάη στο Γραμμικό Πάρκο Εθελοντών Καϊμακλίου να μάθουμε να φυτεύουμε σπόρους, να φτιάχνουμε ψωμί και μαρμελάδες, κομποστοποίηση, ράψιμο, πώς φροντίζουμε την υγεία μας και για μια ενδιαφέρουσα συζήτηση με θέμα τη μέθοδο ενυδρειοπονίας.

* Σε περίπτωση βροχής η εκδήλωση θα μεταφερθεί το Σάββατο 18 Μαΐου

Όλες οι δραστηριότητες είναι ανοικτές και χωρίς χρέωση, μπορείτε να φέρετε δοχεία για τη μαρμελάδα και το ψωμί σας και ρούχα για να τα επιδιορθώσετε.
